Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Heer Gebirgsjger in full field kit and carrying a pair of skis, affixed with its pinback to a field grey wool cloth base, with additional hand stitching for stability, unmarked, the badge meaning 35 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), a traditions badge previously found on Hochgebirgs Jger Bataillon 2 uniforms and headgear, in better than very fine
