A rare and interesting handwritten letter to Kaiser Wilhelm I from Field Marshal Albrecht von Roon (Pour le Mrite, 28 October 1870), petitioning the Kaiser for assistance to the widow of Oberstleutnant Hermann von Briesen, with particular concern for the wellbeing of the ailing and aged widows daughter, presented in black ink on two off white paper stock pages and dated 22 August 1877, measuring 21. 5 cm (w) x 27 cm (h), a researchable
