Luftwaffen Leica Camera from WWII pawn stars determined from GreekThis is a 1944 Leica IIIc German Military camera issued to the German air force or Luftwaffe during WWII. The serial numbers do match shipping records and on the back of the camera is a very faint engraving of "Luftwaffen Eingentum" (translation: Air Force Property) that was painted over by a previous owner. Such coverings are common for these cameras as the owners did not want to be associated with the German military after the war yet wanted to use
